2018 Director Application


The NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation was formed by the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® (NC REALTORS®) in 2004 as a 501(c)(3) public charity to increase housing opportunities for low-and moderate-income North Carolinians.

The Housing Foundation is governed by a separate Board of Directors comprised of 19 voting members, including: 9 REALTORS®, 2 Association Executives (from local REALTOR® boards), 7 at-large individuals (including 3 from housing-related industries), and the NC REALTORS® Treasurer.

Directors are appointed by the current NC REALTORS® Leadership Team for terms beginning on January 1 of the following year. Director positions carry a three-year term, so positions can become available each year.

Candidates are recommended for appointment based on experience with housing affordability issues and advocacy, community involvement and demonstrated leadership in the real estate industry.
